The playground equipment could you some maintenance and should have some kind of cover over it so that it isn't scalding hot for children to play on. There are plenty of swings to play on though and those are in a heavily shaded area.
Great skate park- my son really enjoys it. The kids, teens, and older teens are all pretty respectful around here. We have been here several times during the day and early evening hours and they all seem to offer encouragement and pointers when they can. Foul language is not really a problem here (at least not loud enough for adults to hear from the benches) which is good for younger kids. The ramps do tend to get VERY hot during the warm summer months, and burns can happen quickly! There can be a lot of trash around, and I have not used the restrooms here, they don't look like they are very nice.
Skatepark is nice but I would supervise my kids closely some odd people lingering around
It's nice from afar. However, when you get close up it can be pretty littered. Litter scattered through the area such as wrappers and smoking wastes, gum stuck to almost every outdoor table, bugs nest on quite a bit of the stuff, and used condoms on the ground. The park would be nicer if it was managed better. I didn't even attempt to use the bathrooms.
Nice small park with pretty lake in Groveland. Great for evening walks with your pet or to watch a beautiful sunset over the lake. They do have skate board/bike ramps and grills and a nice covered pavillion. Can put small boats with trolling motors on lake and fish. It does have a small dock.
